Bobby R. Boling, Sr., 88, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
He was born December 20, 1935, in Paragould, Arkansas to Emmitt Boling and Jewel Johnson.
He was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church. He was a 1955 graduate of Green County Tech. He also attended North Texas State and Arkansas State Universities. He served active duty in the U.S. Army and also the Air Force Reserves. During his time serving in the Army, he was stationed in Germany and he also traveled to Mexico and other states. Bobby was also a medical technician, a Mason, and a Shriner. He was a small business owner and operator of Radio Shack. Bobby enjoyed camping, fishing, and family get-togethers.
Survivors include his two sons, Bobby R. Boling, Jr. of Batesville and Eric Boling and his wife Angie Boling of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Brandon Boling, Jeremy Boling, Donovan Boling, Tera Bryant, and Benjamin Bryant; eight great-grandchildren, Lisa, Hayden, Hallie, Lynleigh, Drake, Wesley, Rawlins, Liam.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 53 years, Eddie Anne Boling.
