Loren Wayne Parsley, 74, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 26, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born December 17, 1949, in Batesville to Willard and Irene (Foley) Parsley. He worked for many years at Stanley Wood Chevrolet and Future Fuel. Loren served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Ruddell Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed his dog Tripp, NASCAR, mowing grass, keeping his vehicles clean, riding his side-by-side, helping people and telling jokes to make people laugh. Recently, Loren had a horse buggy restored which made his family very proud.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sharon Kay Parsley; and his brother, Donis Parsley.

He is survived by his wife, Tamra Parsley of the home; one daughter, Bridgett Huff of Newark, Arkansas; two brothers, Darrell Parsley (Shirley) of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas and Dean Parsley (Jone) of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas; one sister, Linda Morgan (Jerry) of El Dorado, Arkansas; one step-son, Eli Powers (Lindsey) of Yellville, Arkansas; one stepdaughter, Michelle Young (Joe) of Batesville, Arkansas; one grandchild, Gracie Lauren Huff; four step-grandchildren, Kolby Young, Kaleb Young, Glory Young and Nolan Powers; several nieces, nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City, Arkansas with Tyler Bramlett and Tracy Grissom officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark.

Visitation will be Friday, March 29, 2024, from noon until service time at the church.
