Rickey Lee Guthrie, 63, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, in Batesville. He was born May 13, 1960, in Omaha, Nebraska to Usher Otto Guthrie and Shirley Ann Moore Hanson. He was a construction worker and of the Christian faith. Rickey enjoyed working out in the yard and camping. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his granddaughters.

He is preceded in death by his father, Usher Otto Guthrie; one brother, John Arnold Guthrie and one sister, Anna Wasson.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nina Halverson Guthrie of the home; his mother, Shirley Hanson of Lockwood, Missouri; one son, Rickey Lee Guthrie Jr. of Batesville, Arkansas; one daughter, Nina Marie Stevens of Batesville, Arkansas; three brothers, Robert Usher Guthrie (Barbara) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dennis McGee of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Gary Karmer of Omaha, Nebraska; three sisters, Pamela Raven of Colorado, Shirley Ann Merino of Indianapolis, Indiana and Noma Barden (Tim) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Mya Ann Marie Stevens and Brooklyn Paige Stevens both of Batesville, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Joel Whitley officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home on Monday, April 15, 2024.
