Bobby Weaver, 80, of Charlotte passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
He was born September 17, 1943, in Charlotte, Arkansas to Judson Weaver and Elsie Wood Weaver.
Bobby was a member of Charlotte Church of Christ. He retired from ABF Trucking and started Weaver’s Greenhouse/Farmer’s Market. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was generous and always willing to help people. Bobby was also a great storyteller. He loved talking to people and never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Shirley Yates Weaver; son, Peyton Weaver (Karen) of Charlotte; daughter, Sherry Weaver (Lisa Goodwin) of Beverly, Massachusetts; two brothers, Donald Weaver (Janavee) of Missouri and Rick Weaver (Lora) of Charlotte; sister, Shirley Weaver of Charlotte; grandson, Parker Goodwin; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Wayne Weaver.
Pallbearers are Jeff Weaver, Jeremy Weaver, Kevin Weaver, Rick Weaver, Jr., Judd Weaver, Johnny Rounds, Jr., Brett Yates, and Junior Weaver.
Services will begin at 10:00 am Monday, April 15, 2024, at Charlotte Church of Christ with Chuck Crow and Jerral Lillard officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
