Debra June Honey Daniels of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 69. She was born January 12, 1955, in Parma, Missouri, the daughter of Max and Vernell (Scott) Williams.
Mrs. Daniels graduated from UACCB & Lyon College with a BA in nursing. She worked as an RN in the Newport area for many years. Her hobbies included painting, horseback riding, working in her flower garden, and laughing with Benny. She was married to the love of her life, Benny, for the last 20 years. Debra will be remembered as a kind person who was always helping people in the community. She attended the Campbell Station Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Max Williams and Vernell (Scott) Britten; three brothers, Kenneth Williams, Nelton Spicer, and Allen Spicer.
Debra is survived by her husband, Benny Daniels; two daughters, Crystal Honey and partner, Jay Jones, and Stephanie Rice and husband, Andrew; five grandchildren, Bethany Honey, Danny Wilson, Kimberly Clem, Billy Goode, and Rebecca Smith; and 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Williams and Lonnie Williams; one sister, Susan Mabry; and her very dear special friend, Claire Smart; and a lifetime of friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27th at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel.
