April Gail Hall, age 49, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away on April 16, 2024, in Batesville.

She was a quiet person until you got to know her. If you asked her opinion, she would tell you, short and sweet. April loved and protected all of her friends and family, especially her son, Brandon, whom she described as her best friend. She shared a close bond with her dad and loved them both fiercely. A kind soul, April was always willing to help anyone in need. She always had a bond with her mother but in her own special way.

April is survived by her son, Brandon Hall; her mother, Jackie Hall; sister Kristi Hall Stokes (Jeff); nieces, Summer Jowers and Madison Livingston; her aunt whom she was named after, Rita Gail Fulks; Uncle Terry Hall; Uncle Albert Dick; and numerous cousins and family members. She was preceded in death by her dad, Gary Smith Hall and all of her grandparents.

April’s educational journey included attending Batesville schools and Byrd Junior High in Duncanville, TX. She graduated from Mountain View High School in Arkansas.

She worked at various places but notably spent many years in her mother’s business at SERVPRO in Fort Worth, TX. In her free time, April enjoyed going to the movies with her son, spending time with friends and family, and simply hanging out with her close friends.

Visitation and Funeral Services for April will be held on Friday, April 19th, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove, AR. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Bro. Gary Don Fletcher officiating. She will be laid to rest by her dad at Ford Kelley Cemetery immediately following the service, which is just where she wanted to be.

Pallbearers will be Chad Dayberry, Joda Younger, John Eubanks, Randy Rorie, Jeff Stokes and Fess Clark.

Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove, AR, is assisting the family during this time.
