With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother/grandmother, Wanda Lea Dennis of Mountain View, AR.

Wanda Dennis was born on May 3, 1930, in Black Oak, AR to John and Ethel Haney and lived a full and vibrant life. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an exceptional grandmother. Her kindness and generosity knew no boundaries and she always put the needs of others before her own. Mrs. Dennis had a passion for gardening, sewing, and cooking. She was a true Christian role model, demonstrating, through her actions, the value of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. Her work ethic and love for others were unmatched and she instilled in her family the importance of perseverance. As time went by Mrs. Dennis began traveling with her husband, Gene Lloyd Dennis. Together they discovered a deep love for music, dominoes, and multiple card games. Mrs. Wanda Dennis was a true pillar of strength and a source of endless love and wisdom to all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Turkey Creek Cemetery on Turkey Creek Road, Mountain View, AR, with Brother Ed Timmerman officiating.

Survivors include one daughter, Carrie Timmerman (Ed) of Birmingham, AL; two sons, Rickey Dennis (Brenda) of Grenada, MS and Allen Dennis (Felice) of Yellville, AR; eight grandchildren: Mara Read, Heather Milhollen, Anne Robinett, Jonathan Dennis, Mary Beth Romano, Kristie Sumrall, Danielle Price, and Creighton Dennis; fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years (Gene Lloyd Dennis), parents, three sisters, and three brothers.
