The church members noted 2017 was a record year for boxes in Batesville and Independence County. All told, 3,890 boxes were collected from supporters in the county. Eighteen volunteers helped with the collection while Spartan Mowers provided a truck, trailer and driver to transport the boxes to a regional center in Judsonia. The boxes will then go to a national distribution center in Dallas.
