Batesville City Council agenda announced for Tuesday

Tuesday night’s Batesville City Council meet will feature a lifesaving award presentation involving the recent shooting of a Batesville Police officer. BPD Chief Alan Cockrill will make the presentation during the regular meeting of the council.

Also on the agenda: Recognition of Johnny Coles, the city’s street superintendent, for his completion of the “Roads Scholar” program.

The aldermen will also consider three ordinances that deal with Batesville’s zoning code.

The council meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 28) at the Batesville Municipal Building at 500 E. Main in downtown Batesville.

The meeting is open to the public.
