A lack of sufficient rainfall over the past three months has put several states in the country’s mid-section under burn bans, including Arkansas. Outside burning of any kind is included in this ban.
On average, under a half-inch rainfall in the area has brought on burn bans for Independence, Fulton, Stone, Cleburne, Sharp, Searcy, Van Buren, Conway, Perry and Faulkner counties
