The New York Times is reporting the Trump administration is planning to replace the current director of the C.I.A., Mike Pompeo, with Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton (R).
The move is part of a plan to “force out” the current C.I.A. director Rex Tillerson.
Sen. Cotton has signaled he would accept the head slot at the agency should it be offered, the paper notes.
