A motorcyclist was killed in a one-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in Baxter County.
William B. Cockrum, 60, was traveling north on Hwy. 5, just north of Clarkridge, according to Arkansas State Police Cpl. Britt Clements’s preliminary report, when his Harley Davidson motorcycle went off the east side of the high highway and struck several trees.
Cpl. Clements noted Cockburn was the 457th Arkansas highway fatality this year.
