Two women charged with third degree sexual assault at the North Central Unit of the Arkansas prison system in Calico Rock have turned themselves in and posted bonds.
Sarah Marie Crawford, 43, of Golden, Col., and Carol Faye Johnson, 54, of Salem, came to the Izard County Detention Center and turned themselves in. Each was jailed and then bonded on a $5,000 bond.
The third degree sexual assualt charges came from incidents while Crawford and Johnson were working in the medical infirmary at the North Central Unit of the State Prison system. The charges involved a prison male inmate.
