Lyon College has announced the inauguration of their 18th president. Dr. W. Joseph King will be inaugurated Thursday and Friday, April 19 and 20, succeeding Dr. Donald Weatherman who retired in 2017.
Dr. King is an author, entrepreneur, husband and father and served as senior adviser to the president of Emory and Henry College in Emory, Va., before moving to Batesville.
King said he believes Lyon College is a very good value and offers a personalized, one-on-one experience for students.
