Students can take broken glass and turn it into art at Arkansas State University-Newport (ASUN).  Local artist Julie Reardon is coming to ASUN to teach both children and adults to create unique creations from shattered glass.

The class, “Spring is in the Air,” is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the ASUN Library and will allow students to exercise their creativity by breathing new life into glass shards.

Reardon, who recently taught a shattered glass Christmas tree class at ASUN in December 2017, is the proprietor of Inspiration Point Parties and brings her expertise of teaching this technique to ASUN’s special springtime event.

The class is open to both children and adults. Students will have the option of creating a 10×10 canvas for $50 or 10×20 canvas for $60.

To register, contact Jennifer Ballard at 870-512-7861, or Jennifer_Ballard@asun.edu.
