A 17-year-old student allegedly threatening to cause harm to other students at Timbo School in Stone County has resulted in the student being taken into custody.

Stone County investigators went to Timbo School and conducted interviews with students and staff alike concerning the allegations.  As a result, the 17-year-old was taken into custody for making threats and transported to a juvenile holding facility.

Sheriff Lance Bonds has enlisted the assistance of the Arkansas State Police and the 16th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney in order to resolve the case.

The case remains under investigation, and details will be forthcoming if and when it is brought to a close.
