A Stone County woman has been charged in Circuit Court with stealing from her employer.
Jerushia Ellen Osborn, 44, while in charge of the books for the Dulcimer Shoppe, allegedly altered the amounts of bills to reflect higher payouts, and pocketed $1,839.90, according to court documents.
The court documents also say Osborn is being charged under the Habitual Offender Act having been previously convicted of one or more but less than four felonies.
The affidavit for probable cause for arrest said Osborn’s bond was set at $20,000.
