Batesville’s First Community opens second Cabot location

First Community Bank’s second Cabot location located at Hwy. 89 & 11 Prospect Court is now open for business. The 4,636 sq. ft. building is the 21st location in the bank’s branch network.

“We are excited to give Cabot another convenient community banking location,” said David Wood, market president for Cabot and Searcy. “This location puts us in the hub of Cabot allowing us to better serve the businesses and customers on this side of town.”

The branch offers a spacious community room that can be scheduled for community events and meetings at no charge. The room is also be offered to the public for a nominal fee for personal events excluding events that are designed to solicit, take orders or sell.  

In September of this year, First Community Bank opened a full-service location in Little Rock, Pulaski County, at the corner of Cantrell and Kavanaugh. First Community Bank also has locations in Independence, White, Sharp, Baxter, Craighead, and Poinsett counties, as well as Newton and McDonald counties in Southwest Missouri.

The lobby hours for the new location will be Monday thru Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Drive-thru hours are Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The bank’s location at 3084 Bill Foster Memorial Hwy. will remain open with slightly revised banking hours. Amber Mayfield will serve as a secondary market loan originator for the Bill Foster Memorial Hwy. location. Secondary mortgage originator, Bart Tuggle, has relocated to Prospect Court along with commercial lender, Mike Brannon and Colbey Frisbee, the bank’s newly named community president.
