Area law enforcement work together on arrest warrant sweep

Area law enforcement has had a busy Tuesday.

According to a post on the Independence County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Sheriff Shawn Stephens and his department teamed with the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, the Batesville Police Department, and probation and parole authorities to conduct a sweep of wanted people. The sheriff’s office notes they were able to find and arrest 16 on possession and delivery warrants, with a total of 18 individuals taken into custody on felony warrants.

A list of the individuals and their charges are below:

Jeremy Scales — Delivery of controlled substance
Christian Shetron – Delivery of controlled substance
James Gray – 2 counts Delivery of controlled substance
Jessie L Wells – Delivery of controlled substance
Jimmy Lewis – Delivery of controlled substance
Joseph Satterwhite – two counts delivery of controlled substance (Found in Sharp County)
Gerald Swaim – Delivery of controlled substance
Noah Woolery – Delivery of controlled substance
Roy Cooksey – Three counts Delivery of controlled substance
David Johnston – Three counts Delivery of controlled substance
Tara Dunegan – Delivery of controlled substance (Found in Perry County)
Joshua Henry – Two counts delivery of controlled substance
Pat Lambert – Delivery of controlled substance
Justin Bridgeman – Delivery of controlled substance
Mark Northcutt – Delivery of controlled substance
Lacosta Lopez – Possession of controlled substance and maintaining a drug premises.

New Charges
Jaimey Durbin – arrested on an outstanding absconder warrant and will receive new charges of possession of firearms by certain persons.
Johnny Gray – arrested and will be charged with possession of controlled substance
