The head coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks, Mike Anderson, will headline Hog Bash 2018, Tuesday, April 24, at Independence Hall on the campus of the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. The Razorbacks’ mascot, Tusk, is also scheduled to be part of the festivities.
Tickets are $20 for adults; $15 for students six through 18; and children five and under can attend free. The event will be catered by Fred’s Fish House and is jointly sponsored by the White River Razorback Club and the Independence County Chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association.
Tickets can be purchased at First Community Bank, Scott Wood Chrysler, Stanley Wood Chevrolet, W.R.D. Entertainment, and the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce. All proceeds are used for scholarships given by the Razorback Foundation and the Independence County Chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event begins at 6 p.m.
