A Jackson County man was taken into custody early Sunday morning on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder in the shooting of a woman in Craighead County.
Authorities say a hospital in the county called them reporting a woman had been shot in the head. The woman gave police an interview which led to Cordra Reynolds of Diaz being implicated. An investigation led police to arrest him saying the case is being investigated as a domestic situation.
Reynolds also had a failure to appear warrant for his arrest, according to authorities. The woman has been released from the hospital, and the case is still under investigation.
