North Arkansas Dance Theatre (NADT) Dance Academy’s junior team recently went to the VIP Regional Dance Competition in Maumelle. Pictured below (from left to right) with their awards are Lily Williams, Carissa Cordell, Kate Edmonds, Raven Newby, Ayden Brown and Kathryn Shaw.
The coaches were Hannah Paulson Wells, Courtney Clay and Katie Wilson.
In the top 10, Cordell placed seventh, Edmonds fourth, Williams third and Shaw second. Williams received a Judges Choice Award and Shaw earned a Jazz Award. The senior team also received very high marks with IvaNelle Stubbs ranking first overall in her division. These girls may be seen in the upcoming NADT production of the “The Wizard of Oz” June 1 and 2.
