The National Day of Prayer will be observed this year on Thursday, May 3. As in the past, a local gathering will be held during the noon hour at the Municipal Building at 500 East Main St. in Batesville, according to a press release announcing the event.
“All are invited to come and pray together for our community, our churches, our families and marriages, our schools, and our nation,” the release noted. “This 67th annual National Day of Prayer comes at a crucial time for our country. It is an opportunity to humbly and corporately approach the Lord’s throne and ask for his healing and renewing power for our nation.”
The ministry of John 3:16 will have a complimentary lunch on the lawn starting at 11 a.m. for attendees.
