Citizens Bank has promoted Melissa Marie Wood and Scott W. Shelby to the positions of Retail Branch Manager, according to Phil Baldwin, CEO of Citizens Bank. Wood now manages the bank’s Eagle Mountain branch, while Shelby leads the Citizens Bank location at Imboden.
“Melissa and Scott embody what we call a new generation of banking leadership that we are developing at Citizens Bank,” Baldwin said. “Both are committed to banking excellence, are expert at customer service, and are very deserving of these promotions.”
Wood most recently served as an assistant branch manager at the Eagle Branch location and has been with Citizens Bank since 2015. She joined the bank after many years of customer service and management experience.

She and her husband, Casey Wood, have five children: Quincey, Kayla, Tanner, Layton, and Griffin – and one grandchild, Farrah.
Wood attended the University of Mississippi and later graduated from the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. The family attends Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains.

Shelby, who lives in Cave City, has also been serving as an assistant branch manager at the Eagle Mountain branch and has been with Citizens Bank since 2005.
His banking career began as a cash vault assistant and has progressed to teller, bilingual senior customer service representative, to assistant retail branch manager. Prior to Citizens Bank, Shelby worked in retail management. He graduated from Lyon College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish.
