An Independence County man has been charged by local authorities with theft by receiving. It involves 41-year-old Adam Brackett being in possession of a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe S.U.V. It was confirmed through the National Crime Information Center to have been stolen from Little Rock and owned by Daniel Hinkson of Benton.
Brackett was arrested yesterday at Southside by Drug Task Force investigators Dammon McGilton and Johnny Byler. The police report said during the course of inventorying the vehicle, a key fob for a Volkswagen car was seized along with another set of keys containing a Dodge key and two General Motors keys.
