An Independence County woman has been charged in Independence County Circuit Court with felony first-degree forgery.
Court records allege on April 29, 45-year-old Brandy L. DeHart used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase items at a Dollar General Store. The next day she was back in the store and was taken into custody by Deputy Carey Thomas.
DeHart is now in jail awaiting a court date. Her bond was set at $15,000.
