The Arkansas State Police Troop B headquarters will have a new facility. White River Now’s Gary B. takes a look.
If you were to venture past 3200 Hwy. 67 North in Newport, you would not see the structure that has housed the Arkansas State Police Troop B headquarters that stood there for so long.
Actually, the structure is down to the steel framework, awaiting construction to completely rebuild. It will be a much needed new home for the Troop.

I learned this good news while visiting this morning with Julie Allen at the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce.
Currently, Troop B is working out the Armory, located near George Kell Park.
