Citizens Bank has promoted Katherine Harris to Assistant Vice President and Retail Branch Manager at its current financial services headquarters in Batesville. Harris had previously managed the bank’s Eagle Mountain Branch.

“Katherine has consistently demonstrated outstanding abilities as she has eagerly assumed increasing responsibilities during her service with Citizens Bank,” said Phil Baldwin, CEO of Citizens Bank. “Citizens Bank customers will be well served by her leadership.”

“Katherine Harris excels at all of the attributes we seek in team members who are committed to excellence in banking and customer service,” said Adam Mitchell, bank president.  “She distinguished herself in Citizens Bank’s EDGE program, which is a unique internal curriculum that identifies, engages, prepares and develops a new generation of banking leadership.”

After managing the retail operations of the current headquarters location, Harris will assume the same responsibilities at the new Citizens Bank headquarters building on St. Louis Street in Batesville upon its completion later this year.

Harris began her career with Citizens Bank six years ago as a teller and customer service representative at the branch in Pleasant Plains. She transferred as assistant manager at the Eagle Mountain location and was named its retail branch manager in 2015.

She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Business Management from the University of Central Arkansas.

Harris and her husband, Derek, have two children, Owen Harris, 2, and Eden Harris, 3 months. They are members of Saint James Catholic Church in Searcy.
