Julie Allen, executive director of the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce, reports that the Downtown Entertainment Series is receiving overwhelming support from sponsors, is having fantastic attendance at the events, and is enjoying great entertainment.
With that success comes the need for volunteers to help make sure each event runs smoothly. In addition, the new sound and movie equipment is exceptionally nice, but it does require at least four people to load in and out each time it is used.
