NEATennis in conjunction with Batesville Parks and Recreation will be holding Youth Summer Tennis Camps for beginners and intermediate players, Tuesday, June 5 through Friday, June 8, at the Lyon College courts in Batesville.
Sessions for ages 7-10 will run from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. while sessions for ages 11 to 15 will run from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Certified Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) Coach Jim Merriman and Arkansas State University Head Women’s Tennis Coach Kel Lange will be on the court for the instruction and fun.
The cost is $85 for all ages, and all equipment will be provided. Snacks, water, and a t-shirt are included. Participants should dress in athletic clothes and shoes, and all players will be grouped according to ability.
