BREAKING: Inmate community service worker walks off from work detail at Independence County Recycling Center

The Independence County Sheriff’s Department has posted on their Facebook page that an inmate community service worker, Justin Wedge, walked away from his assigned work detail at the county’s recycling center. Wedge was last seen at approximately 12 p.m. today. The sheriff’s department was notified at approximately 1 p.m.

Wedge was currently in custody for a Class C misdemeanor, fleeing on foot and obstructing government operations.
