The pre-trial hearing for 30-year-old James Hagen Glenn was continued after a day in Stone County Circuit Court this week.
Glenn is accused of murder in the death of 4-year-old Skylar Shellstrom in November of 2016.
Shellstrom’s mother, 29-year-old Victoria Dycus, was found guilty earlier this year and sentenced to 19 years in prison. Glenn was Dycus live-in boyfriend. A court official said the next pre-trial date is July 19.
Apparently, a negotiated plea of guilty is on the table for Glenn. His jury trial, if a plea can’t be reached, is set for August 15 through August 17 in Stone County Circuit Court with Circuit Judge Tim Weaver presiding.
