Gary L. Bebow, White River Health System (WRHS) CEO, recently welcomed Teresa Hattenhauer as the patient financial services director at WRHS, according to a press release.
Hattenhauer will manage all aspects of patient billing process (also called revenue cycle) including precertification, preservice scheduling, patient registration, billing, payment posting, denials, and follow up. This process includes billing, chargemaster, cash posting, denials, follow up, pre-service unit, and revenue cycle registration.
“I enjoy working in the revenue cycle field,” said Hattenhauer. “I am excited to use my passion to assist patients. Our goal is to provide exceptional service throughout their experience at White River Health System.”
Hattenhauer has a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and a Master of Business Administration. She has 25 years of healthcare experience in clinic and hospital settings. She is well versed in the entire revenue cycle process. Her career has varied from clinic operations, hospital operations, lab management, pharmacy management, and revenue cycle. The most recent title she held was market/executive director.
