The Independence County Library

The all-new Independence County Library celebrated its grand opening this morning in downtown Batesville. Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson noted to the crowd this was the first library he had officially opened since being governor. The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, State Rep James Sturch, Independence County Judge Robert Griffin, Batesville Mayor Rick Elumbaugh, Library Director Vanessa Adams, and Library Board Chairman Bill Walmsley were also on hand for the festivities.
