What’s been described as a “peaceful protest” at the outcome of a negotiated plea during proceedings in the death of 4-year-old Skylar Shellstrom will occur Monday, July 23, in Mountain View.
One of the protest organizers, Larkin Young, spoke with White River Now, saying the protest was scheduled for “…the injustice that happened in our town of Mountain View when the prosecution entered into a negotiated please of ‘no contest’ to first-degree battery in the death of 4-year-old Skylar…,”
The protest will be held on the Stone County Courthouse lawn in Mountain View. It’s scheduled for between 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
