An area man with a Stone County address was arrested Saturday evening after passing a counterfeit $100 bill at the Independence County Fair in Batesville.
The suspect, 24-year-old Patrick Cody Neal Brackett, was taken into custody by Reserve Deputies Dan Gregory and Lance Jennings. He was taken to the Independence County Jail where he awaits a formal charge — likely forgery.
