A Stone County woman was sentenced in Stone County Circuit Court to six years probation. 23-year-old Jenah Marie Horning was charged with permitting child abuse. Also during Stone County Circuit Court sentencing, 28-year-old Candace Dawn Mullins was sentenced to 10 years in prison for one count of forgery. A note on the sentencing order said Mullins made a voluntary, knowing and intelligent waiver of right to counsel or right to an attorney.
She entered a negotiated plea of guilty and was also fined $2,500 plus court and other costs totaling $520.
She was also ordered by Judge Tim Weaver to pay restitution to the Conoco in Mountain View of $450 and to Parson’s Shell in Mountain View of $80. The payments of $100 a month begin 60 days after she is released from prison.
The court also gave Mullins jailtime credit of 830 days.
