The Democratic candidate vying for the Arkansas attorney general’s office, Mike Lee (pictured below), spoke last night at the July meet of the Independence County Democrats held at Josie’s Steakhouse in Batesville. Lee told the group he would be an attorney general “for the people,” and he would be more expeditious with ballot issues, expressing that citizens have a right to vote on such matters. Lee will face Batesville native and current AG Leslie Rutledge (Rep.) in the November election.
