The T Tauri Movie Camp, the youth division of Ozark Foothills FilmFest, will hold this year’s Movie Camp Finale Screening, Saturday, July 28 at 7 p.m. in Independence Hall on the campus of the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. It is free to attend.

The annual T Tauri Movie Camp is a summer youth enrichment program that offers video production workshops for kids and teens, age 8 to 18. Now in its 14th year, the program introduces young people to the exciting world of digital filmmaking through a variety of workshops that have included Acting on Camera, Music Video, LEGO Brickfilms Stop Motion Animation, Depicting Zombies, Poetry in Motion, Home Town Documentary, and Script to Screen Narrative Filmmaking. Many of the participants return every year to hone new skills and reunite with the filmmaker friends they’ve made in past workshops.

This year’s Finale Screening will showcase the videos created in the Acting on Camera, Smartphone Storytelling, Brickfilms Stop Motion Animation, and Script to Screen workshops.

The T Tauri Movie Camp is sponsored by the Arkansas Arts Council, First Community Bank, UACCB, and Fellowship Bible Church. Movie Camp scholarship donors are Citizens Bank and Richardson Accounting and Consulting. The Finale Screening is sponsored by FutureFuel Chemical Company.
