Clinton woman arrested for stealing pills from Heber Springs nursing and rehab facility

A Clinton woman has been arrested after being accused of stealing hydrocodone pills while she worked at a Heber Springs nursing and rehabilitation facility.

Bambi Lee Clauer, 37 was arrested by agents with the Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit and transported to the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Department, according to a press release from Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge’s office.

Clauer is charged with one count of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, a Class D felony. She is accused of stealing hydrocodone pills while working at the Heber Springs facility in November 2017.
