Gary Bebow, CEO of White River Health System (WRHS) recently welcomed Stacy Pollack, MD, obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN), to the medical staff at White River Medical Center. Dr. Pollack is providing care to patients at The Women’s Clinic.
Dr. Pollack is responsible for providing comprehensive women’s health care services including annual exams, delivery, family planning, fertility counseling, hysteroscopic and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, menopause counseling, prenatal, and postpartum care.
Dr. Pollack earned a bachelor of science from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in Conway. She received a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UAMS. She has certification in breastfeeding friendly and neonatal advanced life support.
Dr. Pollack is a member of the American Medical Association as well as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist.
“There is a continued need for OB/GYN services in our service area,” said Bebow. “The addition of Dr. Pollack will improve the access to much-needed health care services for women.”
Through her education, Dr. Pollack cared for patients experiencing complex pregnancies and women’s health conditions. Her encounter with these cases has prepared her to serve Batesville and surrounding communities.
“I’m excited to start my career in Batesville as an OB/ GYN,” said Dr. Pollack. “I love that I am returning to a community where I was raised and now I have a chance to give back. OB/GYN is such a rewarding career and I am thrilled to be part of bringing new life into this world and providing surgical interventions for women’s specific conditions.”
Dr. Pollack is a native of the region. Her parents live in Big Flat, Ark.
Dr. Pollack joins Dr. Caroline Carlton, Dr. Katherine Appleget, and advanced practice registered nurse Mandy Brock. The Women’s Clinic accepts most commercial insurance, as well as Medicare and Medicaid assignment. The clinic is located at 1215 Sidney St., Suite 202 in Batesville.
