Mountain View High School student charged after threatening to slit another student’s throat and ‘drink his blood’

A Mountain View High School male student has been charged in Stone County Circuit Court with felony terroristic threatening in the first degree.

The court information says the student, 18-year-old Kristian Horton, on Monday, Aug. 20, made a statement to another student that he was going to slit the other student’s throat and drink his blood.

The threat was turned in to the Mountain View Police Department by the school resource officer, Keenan Glenn. The report said it was determined that there were no underlying issues with the victim that caused Horton to make the statement.

Horton was placed in the Stone County Jail on a $2,500 bond.

  1. It’s been a year since I said that horrible comment. I can honestly say that I regret saying it but at the same time getting arrested made me fall back in love with music and made my creativity spark and to the student I made that comment to I definitely apologize and since I was released of all charges I am happy to say I am now recording music and making amazing art i am now proud to say life is amazing as my song lyrics sing “open your mind before your mouth” and this is me saying thank you to the judge and court for giving me the chance to fix myself.
