An Independence County Jail inmate who became unruly, threatening a jailer and a matron, was recently charged with two felonies in Independence County Circuit Court.

50-year-old James R. Gilmore was being served with a disciplinary form when he became quite unruly and a danger to himself and others. As jail personnel began to bring Gilmore under control, he threatened a jailer and a matron.  That’s when he was charged with two counts of terroristic threatening. His bond was set at $15,000.
