Warrant sweep in Stone County nets 21 arrests

Twenty-one individuals were arrested today after an eight-month undercover investigation and joint operation of the Stone County Sheriff’s Department, Arkansas State Police, the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force, Arkansas Game and Fish, Mountain View Police Department, Izard County Sheriff’s Department, and Probation and Parole authorities.

According to Stone County Sheriff Lance Bonds, Lt. Zach Alexander and Drug Task Force Agent Dammon McGilton conducted undercover operations buying illegal drugs within the county with use of confidential informants and Stone County buy funds.

The felony charges include delivery of methamphetamines and other controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, failure to comply and probation violation.

Sheriff Bonds stated that he wanted to personally thank all agencies that were involved in these investigations.
