An arrest warrant has been issued for a Batesville woman in connection with the theft of a debit card and use of the card to make illegal transactions.
After an investigation, the Independence County Sheriff’s Department says 27-year-old Courtney Kris Mullins took a debit card belonging to Mira and Thomas King and made at least four illegal transactions with it.
The court information said the sheriff’s department has video evidence of the instances in which Mullins used the card.
Mullins is charged with felony theft of property and fraudulent use of a debit card — the latter, a Class A misdemeanor. Her bond has been set at $15,000.
