The Batesville Elite Swimming Torpedoes (BEST) recently competed in the first USA Swimming meet of the season in Benton.
All swimmers swam personal best and earned their qualification to swim at the Arkansas Swimming State Champs, Amateur Athletic Union, and Elite/Pro meets, according to Alfredo Aleman, BEST head coach and the aquatics coordinator for the Batesville Community Center.
Congrats to all BEST swimmers that participated at the USA Go Pink Halloween in Benton. The BEST team was represented by Jack Allen, Parker Coggins, Jaydan Coggins, Adrian Davis, Katie Cruse, Claire Gunter, Kate Gunter, Lillie Guth, Molly Guth, Nathan Hernandez, and Anthony Sonnier.
