Main Street Batesville, Pleasant Plains Halloween festivities moved to Tuesday; other fun still planned for Wednesday’s All Hallows’ Eve

UPDATE, Oct. 29, 9:40 a.m. Main Street Batesville has confirmed that the Believers Community Church will now also be set up in Pocket Park on Main Street in Batesville on Oct. 30, as well. 

Some area Halloween festivities have been moved up 24 hours due to the threat of rain.

Main Street Batesville’s “Fun & Safe Halloween” will now take place Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. instead of Wednesday (Oct. 31). Resident and merchants on Main Street will be welcoming all types of trick or treaters. Believers Community Church is still scheduled to be set up in the Pocket Park on Main Street in Batesville. (See above.) Halloween events and activities scheduled throughout the city of Pleasant Plains have also been moved to Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Halloween fun will still be celebrated on Oct. 31 in Batesville: The Darkness Haunted House at 570 Stadium Dr. will be open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. And the teen-only event, A Very Harry Potter Halloween, at the Independence County Library will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
