Man found guilty on drug charges in Stone County transferred to state prison

A man found guilty of eight drug-related felonies has been transferred from the Stone County Jail to an Arkansas State Prison facility where he will complete his prison sentence.

Stanley Jerome Freeman was found guilty of three counts of possession of a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, and three counts of delivery of methamphetamine. Freeman was also charged with possession of Oxycodone and Hydrocodone — both controlled substances.

In addition, Freeman was charged with maintaining a drug premises and possession of drug paraphernalia. All those charges were filed in June and July of 2017 when he was busted by local police.
