During a special Oct. 30 meeting, the Cedar Ridge School Board conducted two expulsion hearings. One student was represented by the parents while the other student was not represented.
Both were expelled from attending classes and all extra-curricular activities of the district for the remainder of the school year.
Also during the meeting, the board voted unanimously to employ Heather Gibbs as a teacher in the district.
