(UPDATE: Suspect in custody) Warrant issued for Stone County man charged with felony assault after crossbow incident

UPDATE, Nov. 1, 4:45 p.m.: The Mountain View Police Department is reporting Carston Lee Lucas is now in custody.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Stone County man charged Tuesday in Stone County Circuit Court with felony aggravated assault involving an incident with a crossbow.

The affidavit of probable cause for arrest says the charge stems from an incident that occurred in Mountain View on Sunday, Oct. 22. In that incident, 35-year-old Carston Lee Lucas is accused of being in possession of a crossbow and aiming it at Jueel Whitaker and Travis Zajac.

Lucas’ bond has been set at $5,000.
